Our guide was an absolute legend! I don't usually write review but I felt compelled to tell the world how great these guys are. I was a bit hesitant to book a guided tour (I like to explore cities myself) but something told me that this would be different. I am so glad I chose Local Knowledge. It was like a day trip with a bunch of close mates. We listened to great music, told stories, laughed...it was so relaxed but at the same time, super professional. What a great day! Nick (the owner and our host for the day) showed us his new travel app (Local Knowledge Travel)....remember the name...it's going to be the next Instagram! Best way to get authentic, local recommendations and connect to other, young travellers. Well done guys!
This was a really fun night! Nick (the owner) was our host. You can tell that he really gives a dam. He went over and above what was expected (walking guests too their Uber's, introducing us to other locals etc.) What a legend! Their company have also created a really cool recommendation app for travellers (Local Knowledge Travel) which was really awesome! I used it every day for the rest of my trip.
Yanga is the bomb! We had so much fun. I met great people (we exchanged numbers and met up a few times later.) As a solo female traveller, I was a little nervous exploring Cape Town nightlife. This experience was the perfect way to get out and have some fun within the safety of a group. Thanks so much guys!
It was a relatively quiet night in Cape Town (understandably.) However, that did not dampen the mood. Our host was such a vibe and the group dynamic was great! I met South African's, guys from the UK and a lovely American lady. It definitely exceeded all expectations.
This was great fun! Live music, great cocktails, local insight and incredible story-telling. All stops had covid protocols. It never felt uncomfortable. The group was able to share drinks and stories without feeling like we were being irresponsible. Thanks guys!
