It is a modest cryptorium replete with details to examine close-up, such as the move from two-dimensional representation s to the more "humanist" frescoes of the Renaissance. Plus, its link to the original temple for Moneta, making Milan a money center all the way back to the 4th century. After visiting, go upstairs to the church where you will see 15th/16th century terracotta statues or remarkable realism.
