Popular City Cards in Paris
Top 5 monuments you can enter for free with the Paris pass
The City of Paris offers tourists two different city cards for accessing attractions, skipping queues, using public transport, and much more included. Here are some of the best landmarks included in the price!
1. Louvre Museum
The world's grandest art museum boasts masterpieces from the Mona Lisa to the Venus de Milo. Look at the winding lines and remember that the Paris Pass gives you skip-the-line entry!
2. Versailles
On the outskirts of Paris lies Versailles, one of its most opulent palaces. Discover why France's former royals were so distracted from political affairs! Dress code: flamboyant. (Not really.)
3. Montparnasse Tower
It's far from Paris' prettiest landmark, but the top-floor terrace at Tour Montparnasse lets visitors view the city's lookers in a single eyeful!
4. Centre Pompidou
With over 50,000 works running the 19th and 20th century gamut, from Duchamp to Picasso, the Centre Pompidou is the European capital of modern art.
5. Palais Garnier
Palais Garnier, Paris' opera house is a caricature of 19th century tastes. Even back then it drew criticism for being so ostentatious. Check out its marble staircase and seven-ton chandelier!
Planning Your Visit
Is it worth it?
As well as free, skip-the-line admission to monuments, the Paris Pass includes free tours, a guidebook, and use of public transport, as well as discounts at selected shops and restaurants. However, note that under-26's from the EU can already enter state museums for free (albeit after queuing). If you're only interested in the museums, it might be cheaper to purchase the lone Paris Museum Pass and a separate Visite public transport ticket.
Where can I buy them?
Online of course (including on GetYourGuide!), but if you'd prefer to wait until you're there then the Paris Museum Pass can be purchased at both Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports. The all-inclusive Paris Pass can be bought at Paris Pass Desk, "Les Delices" Grand Rex, 33 rue Poissonniere, 75002.

What people are saying about Paris
The defect in the Paris Museum Pass is that it do'es not cover all the museum's exhibitions but only the permananet collections. It will be improved if the visitor will see the all museum under the coverage without expeptionals. It would be good idea that the pass would entitle the holder any reduction for purchasing items in the muesums' shops. Another problem is the need to take the pass in a small office in Paris. You have to adopt the state of the art way and to send the pass by e-mail (not mail) to the the client.
I loved this but there are a lot of museums not included in Paris. we went to two that were not included before we realized they weren't on the list. which was slightly dissappointing. there are Notre Dame entrances included but it is not open for tours due to the fire in 2019. In the future I would pair this with the hop on hop off bus tour as many of these places are very far away from each other
Due to the coronavirus outbreak we encountered some problems with museum opening hours, so we had to wait for over two hours at louvre museum, without being able to enter (the museum also stayed closed on Monday, due to virus fears). Apart from that the pass works excellent
Excellent pass to see all the museums and monuments. Would recommend because we never had to stand in line to wait. We also enjoyed the free river cruise at night to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle.
Great ticket! Place to collect the ticket was easy to find and near many museums. Absolutely good to have the ticket. So you could often skip the queue. :)
