Berlin: Teufelsberg Abandoned Listening Station Trip
- Small group
- Duration: 2 hours
Don't let a wall come between you and the Berlin landmarks that interest you most. Hop-on hop-off bus tours let you sightsee at your own pace, but here are a few highlights to help you get started.
Stop here to wander the lush, green Lustgarten as you admire Berlin's magnificent cathedral. Then, of course, there are the ornate Prussian buildings on the adjacent Museum Island!
This former market square is still a tourist favorite, with the German and French Cathedrals mirroring each other on either side of the impressive Berlin Konzerthaus.
Check out two drastically different palaces on your city tour, with Bellevue and Charlottenburg both occupying gardens on the south bank of the Spree River.
The East Side Gallery is a surviving section of the Berlin Wall. It's considered an international monument to freedom, with graffiti murals stretching 80 meters from the Oberbaum Bridge to Ostbahnhof station.
See the iconic Brandenburg Gate before riding up Unter den Linden boulevard towards Humboldt University and the Bebelplatz book-burning memorial.
Hop-on hop-off bus tours of Berlin are one of the cheapest methods of sightseeing across the city. Prices start at €15 for a single day's touring, with the cost scaled down for additional days.
You'll find most places of interest covered by the city tour buses, but routes and stops differ depending on the tour provider. Any good bus tour should provide you with routes and itineraries prior to booking.

This was an exceptionally good battlefield tour run by an excellent guide. The Covid situation meant that there were only myself and a friend that day and he must have barely covered his overheads but nevertheless did not cancel the tour. This was the last battle of WW2 and the cost was indescribably huge on both sides. The guide not only describes the tactics so well and lucidly he brings to life the terrible story of the tragic human carnage. Matthew was so good and we were so impressed with his professional expertise we booked him for a private tour later in our visit.
We specifically chose this company because they offer live commentary, and we were not disappointed. Our guide was efficient, friendly and informative. She tailored the commentary to the clients and gave us lots of information and related personal experiences which we could never have got from an audio guide. We got a real feeling for Berlin and what it was like to live there in recent times, as well as a professional presentation of all we needed to know about the monuments and places of interest. Thank you Steffi!
Very friendly, very informative staff. They make it very simple and easy to get on board. The tour was wonderful and quite relaxing, even with our two young children. They really enjoyed being up top in the open air. You are provided many facts about the city and plenty of opportunities for pictures. I highly recommend this tour!
The cooperatation with other bus transfer programs was very helpful as we could see all the sites with shorter time, all audios were in function. The team were very kind and helpful, only the meeting point @ Aleksander place was not good defined as was mentioned beside Holiday Inn and it was more near to Park Inn
Well worth the money. Get to see all the main landmarks of Berlin whilst learning lots on the way. I recommend the walking tour, best part of the experience! You get to learn things you would of missed, such as Hitlers Bunker!
