On the tour, drive along trails that date back over a thousand years, from the time of the Visigoths and the Arabs. Following pickup from Granada city center, travel by 4WD vehicle towards the towering peaks of the nearby mountains north of the city. We will get an elevation of 2500 meters-8000 ft, with amazing views of the highest peaks in the Iberian peninsula. Explore the north face of the Sierra Nevada to see the highest peaks on the Iberian Peninsula, climbing to heights of more than 3,000 meters. Marvel at the amazing landscape, before driving to Sierra de Huétor Natural Park. The mountains here are lower and were used by the Moors to draw spring water for the Albaicín, now part of Granada. See some old fortifications from the days of the Spanish Civil War, and enjoy incredible views of Granada and the Sierra Nevada. This fantastic experience is suitable for all skill levels. Meet at the local partner’s shop to be fitted for your equipment before hitting the slopes in a 2-hour group class. After your lesson, spend the rest of the day on the slopes to practice your skills, with the skiing or snowboarding equipment included throughout the day.

Reconnect with nature on an amazing e-bike tour of the Sierra Nevada National Park, and get stunning views of the surrounding landscape from the 2nd highest mountain range in Europe. Marvel at the lofty peaks of Mulhacén, towering 3,482 meters above sea level. Look for local wildlife, including the incredible mountain goats that make the rugged landscape their home. Put on the provided helmet and make yourself comfortable on the high-quality bikes. Then, cycle downhill through the rocky crags and feel the adrenaline pump through your blood. Ride at your own pace under the careful supervision of your guide, and get a better appreciation of the beauty of the mountains and ancient forest. Pedal through some of the famous white villages to experience a slice of local life.

Discover one of Europe's richest botanical enclaves, through picturesque villages and a breathtaking mountain landscape. La Alpujarra is an extensive valley running across the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada and the mountains of the Contraviesa Lújar, the Mediterranean coast and the Sierra de Gador. White buildings pepper the rugged terrain, matching the snow-capped peaks down amid the lush foliage. The first stop is the 19th-century town of Lanjarón, where you'll follow the flowing waters to Orgiva, the crossroads of the region and capital of La Alpujarra. From here continue through the magical towns of Caratuñas, Pampaneira, Pitres and Trevélez, the highest village in Spain, famous for its exquisite Iberian hams. Then, drive into the heart of the charming and picturesque villages of Bubion and Capileira, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views and a traditional lunch if you choose this option.

Leaving from the city of Granada at 09:00 or meeting point in Hoya de la Mora, Sierra Nevada at 10:00 where we start the trekking tour, in winter we will use snowshoes and poles to enjoy the snow and ice and in summer only walking sticks, enjoying the views of the fertile plain of Granada, the summit of Mulhacen and the Veleta and on clear days views of the Mediterranean Sea, upon reaching the summit of the Veleta at 3,396 meters above sea level, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest with a picnic lunch and prepare for the descent. The round trip trek has an approximate time of 7 hours back to Hoya de la Mora, and back to Granada at 6:00 p.m.

After being collected from your accommodation in Granada, you will be driven to 2,500 meters above sea level to the top of the Sierra Nevada Road. From here you will head to the most beautiful glacier valley of Sierra Nevada, San Juan Valley. Here you will learn how the ice has been excavating the rocks throughout thousand of years. You will also encounter beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and shiny rocks, as well as wildlife such as mountain goats, eagles, birds migrating from Africa, and insects and plants that only exist here. Rent skiing or snowboarding equipment for a day to discover the wonderful landscape of the Sierra Nevada. Soak in panoramic views as you glide down the mountains outside of Granada. Head to the local partner’s store to collect your medium-high range equipment. Once you’ve been kitted out, spend the rest of the day on the slopes and experience the thrill of skiing or snowboarding.

Witness the beauty of the Sierra Nevada National Park on a snowshoe hike on Velta Peak from Granada. Work up an appetite with a 4-hour hike then enjoy a picnic lunch at the summit. After getting picked up from your hotel in Granada, travel by car to the starting point and begin your 3 to 4-hour hike. Hike in the company of a certified guide who will point out the best snowy scenes and ensure your safety. The route will be adapted to the weather and group capability. Upon arrival at the peak of Veleta, enjoy a picnic lunch and snacks before beginning your descent and returning to Granada.
