A very well organised trip , in a comfortable coach and with a very well informed driver, passionate about his home island, who kept us passengers engaged with his facts, figures and explanations. We visited the key places expected with good time slots to get a flavour of the history and life of the island. The boat trip across can be a little rough, but our day it was perfect. Possible sighting of cetacea was not to be for us sadly.

A moving and well presented guide to the reasons for the Jacobite uprising, the battles, and the outcomes. It was much more interesting and informative than I had expected, with no 'nationalistic' undertones. Probably the best historic site we have visited.
