My wife and I are currently visiting Okinawa and didn't want to pick up a sim card so we decided to try an eSIM. We both have UNLOCKED Galaxy Fold 3's from the United States. First, I should say, I am not very tech savy however, my wife was tired and fell asleep! :( I tried to use only the QR code-that didn't work properly. My phone showed me connected to docomo carrier but I still didn't have internet. I spent a lot of time trouble shooting and watching YouTube tutorials. I feel like I became an expert changing APN settings. Finally, I went back through the get your guide app and followed the APN settings under the details tab then chose IIJ network carrier (I think). Once I did that, it worked great! I did a google search test to verify my connection. I almost gave up all hope!

The 4-hour driving tour was exactly what we wanted as an introduction to Hakodate city as it was our first visit to Hakodate. Our guide and driver Suzuki-san was very knowledgeable and an excellent and very safe driver.

Works perfectly in Tokyo with a good speed Be careful, you still have to scan the QR code so either have it printed beforehand, or have a second phone to be able to send it on it and then scan it

We love the service and the pick up was seamless. Appreciate the convenience of not having to drag our bags through snow on our first day in Hokkaido. Price is really reasonable for 3 pax.

Easy to install and very convenient! It was great to be able to arrange this prior to our trip.
