Start your day when you are picked up at your hotel or apartment in Colmar before beginning your tour through the Alsace in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan.  Departing from the historical center of Colmar, you will pass through the wine route along the beautiful vineyards and little villages, from there you can explore the typical Alsatian architecture which is magical, colorful, and unique. Then drive further along the Alsatian wine route, immerse yourself in the world of vineyards and products which make the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region’s reputation.  To test the region’s wine reputation, you will visit a typical wine cave and you can taste a big variety of wines such as Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot noir, and many more.  Your tour will end with Kaysersberg, where its high fortress dominates the city and serves as a reminder of both its strategic importance and its warlike past. After visiting these 4 wonders, our driver will bring you safely back to Colmar.

So easy and fun, the Segway really is the best way to visit Colmar. After collecting your Segway and helmets at the only winery in Colmar, you will partake in a short training session in which you will become familiar with the equipment you will be using over the following 2 hours. Following this training session, you will follow your guide through the diverse neighborhoods, including the Old City Center, the German part, and the "Quartier des Maraichers". Built during the 12th century, the Castle occupied a strategic position controlling the wine and wheat routes to the north and the salt route from the east.

Depart Colmar and travel by fully equipped minivan through the rolling hills covered in vines and medieval castle ruins. Your 3-country adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Colmar. On your way to Germany, you’ll pass by the fortified village of Neuf-Brisach, a UNESCO world heritage site dating back to the late 17th century.  From there, you'll drive to Germany and visit Freiburg, one of the treasures of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Amble through the streets that seem ripped straight from a fairytale, taking note of the channels of water that runs right alongside sidewalks. Afterward, you'll pass through another border bound for Basel in Switzerland. Divided into 2 parts by the Rhine river, the city has much to offer, with its picturesque bridges, narrow, winding alleyways, and stunning cathedrals.  Wandering through the medieval town of Great Basel, look for the unique cultural aspects of the city that differentiate it from other Swiss towns. Your day trip ends in perhaps the most charming and beautiful village in France: Eguisheim. Situated just south of Colmar, the town runs in concentric circles around a central plaza.  With tightly packed antique houses painted in brightly-colored hues, quaint shops, and a medieval castle, there are few villages in the world that so truly harken back to another age. Once your border-crossing adventure is over, you’ll return to your accommodation in Colmar.

You will depart at 10:00am from Colmar. Pass through vineyards and taste some wine on the way to see these historical villages. The villages are each differently decorated for Christmas. You will fall instantly in love with their charm. The evenings are especially magical as the true Christmas atmosphere comes to life thanks to the beautiful illuminations that match perfectly with the wonderful lighting designed to enhance the towns' heritage. You will have time to explore at your own pace the villages of Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, and Eguisheim Your driver will be at your service and will help you to find and discover more about the towns. Between the villages, you will visit a wine cellar at Ribeauvillé, were you can enjoy a guided wine tour.
