6. Faro: Eco-Friendly Ria Formosa Bird Watching in Solar Boat

This is due largely to the fact that the sea level rises and falls about 3 meters every 6 hours. Whilst there, you will discover a complete self-regenerating ecosystem, which allows a part of the local population to develop fishing and shellfish production. This provides all of the ingredients for the varied diets of the migratory birds that continue returning to this area year after year. You may be able to watch the hunting of predatory birds, and will also be able to enter into a maze of canals where the only thing that you will hear is the sound of the birds calling and their interactions with one another. At the conclusion of your tour, you will return by boat to your tour's point of origin.

One of the cheapest longest experiences to do from Albufeira. Pick up in minibus around 8:30am, returned to hotel at 1pm. Nice, informative driver. Masks required in minivan. Farmers Market is huge! Gypsy market not so great with stuff usually found elsewhere but Loule itself is real nice and worth the few hours to look around. Highly recommended for half a day excursion.

Really enjoyed the tour, our guide GIL was very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. He was also very informative, organised and professional. Although we didn’t get the best of sunsets, the view alone was worth it and a Must!

Everything was really great, everything was well organized! (The only downside was that the exact pick-up time was not known until 11 p.m. the day before)! To recommend!!!

This is a must! Best value for money, the crew and staff were amazing, the food and drinks were flowing! Do not sleep on this! Book it now.

Joãn very good and informative. Jolly man. Had a super day out.
