Cagliari, south Sardinia, the wonderful capital of this island. Here you can discover the ancient recipe of the delicious culurgiones pasta. Host by the talented Damiano and his sister you will learn a recipe that has been handed down for generations and learned by Damiano from his grandma since childhood. You will be given a so-called "scivedda" (container) and shown how to prepare the pasta. After the closing of all the culurgiones everyone will sit at the table to enjoy the appetizers with a glass of wine, while the water will be boiled for the big meal. This meal will surely delight your palate! The culurgiones recipe comes from Damiano's grandmother who occasionally prepares culurgiones at home with the whole family on Sunday or during holidays. The original culurgiones recipe belongs to the Ogliastra province (south-east of Sardinia) where each county has its typical recipe. During this lab you will learn the culurgiones recipe from the town of Jerzu. The class is held by Damiano and his sister. Such a fun and incredible experience learning to make traditional Sardinian pasta. Felt very authentic and everyone was SO nice. I loved that they also offered pick up and drop off to/from my hotel. All of the other members of the group were so nice and we all had a little lunch after. Would 100% recommend :)

Love this idea of having a personalised tour, especially because I'm a solo traveller. I booked mine for the first day of my holiday, and it helped me settle in and familiarise myself with the new surrounds.

Our trip was fantastic, a great mix of scenery, history and thrill. We were given the opportunity to see areas which we would otherwise never have seen.

Giacomo was an excellent guide - so charming and personable, and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic day and would recommend him to everyone’
