Cross Lake Zurich by ferry, and ride a cable car to Felsenegg with scenic views of the snow-capped Alps. Begin by visiting the major attractions of Zurich such as the Old Town, St. Peters Church – known to have the largest clock face of all the European churches – the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai, and the Guild Houses. Stop off at the harbor for a photo opportunity, where you enjoy a beautiful view of the Lake of Zurich, and the city and surrounding hills. Drive along the "Gold Coast" to Meilen, where you will then cross the lake on a ferryboat. This was a very well-organized tour of the major cultural and historical highlights of the city of Zürich. The bus was easy to find and we departed promptly into the city traffic. Our guide gave excellent commentary over the course of several hours in English and Spanish. The vehicle ferry across Lake Zurich was a nice touch, as was the cablecar ascent in Adliswil. The peak boasted great views of the region complemented by a nice treat at the Felsenegg restaurant—though it was an overcast day for us. We concluded with a brief walking tour of the Altstadt.

The ferry ride is nothing to write home about. I'm surprised they put it as a feature. They should stop at Christmas markets in season instead of the same old places. When there is fog or snow or haze, the cable car ride is essentially pointless. Luckily on our trip the trees were blanketed in snow.

Very fun and informative tour, our guide (Angie, if I’m not mistaken) was constantly engaging with the group, making sure we wouldn’t miss a single detail. The tour is given in english, but Angie can also speak Spanish, for my fellow Spanish speakers. Make sure to wear warm clothing, it can get really cold!
