Full description

Depart Krakow and journey to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum to explore the largest concentration camp in Poland built by the Nazis. Benefit from the services of a professional guide as you take a poignant tour of both the Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II labor camps. Get a short break for lunch on arrival, and then get shown around Auschwitz I to see the infamous Arbeit Macht Frei sign and some of the administration buildings where the horrors were planned.

Look inside the gas chamber where the Nazis committed their hideous genocide, and see personal artifacts belonging to inmates at exhibitions dedicated to their memory. Benefit from a short 15-minute break before going to the Birkenau camp for a 1-hour guided tour. Discover where the prisoners entered the camp and the wooden barracks where they were forced to live.

Return to Krakow with your thoughts and get dropped off at a place of your choice in the Old Town or Old Jewish Quarter.

Well organised. Good.knowledeable guide (Joanna). The tour itself needs no explanation to be honest. I will say it is incredibly powerful & touching. Very well preserved & cared for. It is a once in a lifetime visit & well worth it. I would use this tour company again.

Really informative guide at the museum and on the coach, only thing we didn’t like it’s a full day tour and only 10mind break so no time for a drink or lunch, we read the itinerary and it said you can order a packed lunch but there was no time to eat it and food and drink are not permitted on the coach or in the museum? We had to eat walking round Bercanau , really not great

Our tour guide was Joanna and she was great. She was very informative on both the way and return from our trip. Our tour guide at Auschwitz, Jakub was also very knowledgable and was happy to answer any questions. We booked lunch through the tour guide, which again was good for the price. I would highly recommend this trip.
