Remarkable site very worth the visit. In addition to the Roman structures, the site is just a beautiful natural area. The guide gave structure to the visit and answered questions. We enjoyed the tour. Much of the information he provided, however, was very similar to if not identical to that provided on the many informational signs. Nevertheless, if you have limited time as we did, having a guide made for an efficient use of that time and was worthwhile. The approx. 1.5-2 h tour was adequate and you were free to roam the site as long as you wanted afterwards.

It is very interesting to discover the place. Game of thrones brought us there, and we discovered an entire unknown Roman world in ITALICA. I highly recommend it. The only downside was a guide who spoke in French that was planned. Finally, the visit was done in English, fortunately my girlfriends and I have a good level in English.

Roman history in Spain

The tour was very interesting! It’s hard to imagine that you are walking where Italians in Spain walked 2000 years ago! I gave it a 4 only bc no one at the gate knew where groups on tour met their guide and sent us to wait NO where near the meeting spot. 4 phone calls later, we found our guide who was patiently waiting with the rest of the group for us!
