Full description
After boarding, begin by receiving a full briefing on your safety and comfort for your cruise. From there, hit the open water and navigate the coast off of Rio Arade, the village of Ferragudo, medieval castles, and the Atlantic Ocean. Cruising east, pass Carvoeiro, which contains the famous rock formation of Algar Seco. Arriving to the lighthouse of Alfanzina, transfer to a small boat to visit the inside of the local caves which run from the lighthouse to Marinha Beach. These caves include the famous cathedral cave of Benagil. Returning to the boat, take a dip to swim in the enticing crystal clear water which surrounds you. On your return journey, be on the lookout for dolphins, which are regularly spotted in this area.

unfortunately no dolphin visible. explanations in English and French incomprehensible (even if not essential). beware of seasickness for the most sensitive: even on calm seas, the smell of fuel in certain areas of the boat and particularly at certain times (especially during transfers to the boats). rather benevolent cabin crew, especially with children. nice excursion, even if too little time in the benagil cave (no descent on the beach), not surprising given the influx of boats despite the covid-19.

The best way to visit the caves. Instead of going on this tipical turistic boats, we took this big Pirate Ship with a real pirat on board! In one moment, you can even jump from the ship in to the water. Then you go on small boats to visit the caves. The staff is amazing although you dont understand very well the guy on microphone speaking in portuguese, english and french. The best experience for those who wants to visit the caves. 5 stars!!
