Awesome to see beautiful Christchurch under us as we went up to the Redrock cafe with normal prices to eat or drink, I might add the shop for souvenirs was so well priced I bought a few things to bring home....and I use a walker which I took with me to walk around without it being folded away and the beautiful staff stopped the Gondola for me to get on and off without rushing me in anyway, so if you are slow moving, a walker or have a stick go there as they look after everybody so well. Don’t miss out. Go and you will love it...my thanks to all the staff there loved it so much Ella Sweeney OAM

Gondola trip was pretty smooth with good views of Christchurch on the way up. The views at the top were pretty spectacular. The time tunnel needs a bit of TLC really. It seemed very white with very little maori culture. I think the displays have seen better days. Unfortunately the cafe was badly managed with drinks taking 25 minutes to arrive and it wasn't busy. One needed a chisel and hammer to attack the chocolate brownie. Such a shame. Not a patch on Queenstowns similar attraction.

A really cool place to take the kids. They loved it and so did we. The food in the restaurant was nice enough but not as good as I expected to accompany the awesome view. Great however that they had something for the kids that are fussy eaters, like fairy bread (even though the healthy food fanatics wouldnt agree) beacause to those of us who actually want to feed our kids and not spend 20.00 on something they won't eat, $2.50 for Fairy bread was great.
