Visit the region of Rías Baixas on this day trip from A Coruña. Take a guided tour in the historic center of Pontevedra, visit the fishing village of Combarro, and see the natural landscapes of Illa da Toxa. Also, enjoy a boat trip with a tasting of mussels and wine. The first stop of your day trip is in Pontevedra, where you will have a walking tour of its historic center. Wander through the city's pedestrian-friendly streets and see the Church of the Pilgrim Virgin, the Ruins of San Domingo, and many more important sites. After your tour head to Combarro. Arrive at the fishing village of Combarro and be charmed as you tour its cobbled streets and see the facades of its buildings. After your tour, leave Combarro and head to Illa da Toxa. Illa da Toxa is a popular travel destination, known for the Chapel of the Shells, the soap factory, and its natural landscapes. Take another guided tour and then take a boat trip through the Ría de Arousa. During your boat trip see the mussel rafts and enjoy a tasting of local quality wine and mussels. Make a stop in O Grove and have the opportunity to taste local dishes during your free time for lunch. Afterward, head to Cambados, the capital of Albariño, and one of the most important points of the Rías Baixas. Finish your day with a visit to an Albariño wine cellar, where you will taste 3 different varieties of wine. Learn the entire process of wine elaboration, labeling, and production.

We really liked the visit but we did not like that they changed our departure time, since at that time 8:00 in the morning there is nothing open or a cafeteria in Coruña for breakfast. The normal schedule was 9:00 and everything broke the projects we had. The boat theme is very fun, I recommend it 100% and the luxury dining area. Definitely.

The places we visited were very beautiful; however I do not think they were worth it to visit with this excursion because you truly don’t even see them. For example, we had 30 minutes of free time in Combarro and were told to go back to the bus in 30 minutes but it took 15 minutes to walk back to the bus so there was actually only 15 minutes of free time so that site was a waste of time. Similarly in Ill de Toxas, we had 30 minutes free time however it took 12 minutes to walk back to the bus so that was a total waste as well. These “stops” barely gave you enough time to find a shop to buy water. Bring water with you!!! In addition, the trip took 12 hours, not the 10 as advertised. The tour guide was also not good. If you can drive to these stops yourself, you will have a much better time.
