Travel onwards along the beautiful Mincio River and stop to take a breather at a collection of quaint communes and pristine lakes along the way. Detailed Itinerary Day 1: Arrival Individual arrival in Peschiera del Garda (Lake Garda) Day 2: Peschiera del Garda – Brescia [56km/72km] Spend the day biking from Peschiera del Garda to Brescia, following the cycling route of the Mincio river. Along the way, stop to visit the castles of Monzambano, Castellaro Lagusello, and Pozzolengo, as well as the parish church of Pontenove. You will have the option of heading directly to San Martino della Battaglia on the 56-kilometer route or extending your ride along the 72-kilometer route. Day 3: Brescia – Bergamo [50km/71km] Cycle from Brescia to Bergamo, stopping along the way at the beautiful Iseo Lake and the Rodengo Abbey, visiting Provaglio d'Iseo, the castle of Passirano, and then taking a break at the natural peat reserve of Sebino. You will also visit the castles of Clusane, Grumello and Montello. If the standard 71-kilometer route is too long for you, there is a possibility of shortening the route to 50 kilometers and traveling from Telgate to Bergamo by train. Day 4: Lake Iseo – Lecco [42km/50km] Cycle from Lake Iseo to the quaint Italian commune of Lecco. Along the way, visit the communes of Sotto il Monte and Garlate then stop for a visit at the sanctuary of Mapello. You will also enjoy a ride on the Leonardo ferry in Olginate before reaching your final destination, Lake Garlate or Lecco Lake. Day 5: Garlete/Lecco – Lake Como [40km] Spend the day cycling from the commune of Lecco to the famous Lake Como, stopping along the way at the Lakes Annone and Pusiano, as well as the Alserio church of Albavilla. Day 6: Como – Sesto Calende/Arona [60 km] While cycling from Como to Sesto Calende/Arona, you will stop at the Romanesque oratory of Albiolo, the beautiful Varese and Monate Lakes, Ticino River, and the intricate Abbey of Sesto Calende. Day 7 End your week-long journey after breakfast in Sesto Calende.
