The Acropolis was amazing, but the audio guide was not good. I had downloaded the guide previously but it kept stopping and not starting up, then starting on its own later on. Also kind of difficult to understand the lady speaking. Also, the skip the line entrance is at the other end of the Acropolis from where the bus drop off is. We rode the HOHO bus to the top of the hill, then had to walk down a ways to get to our entrance, then back up to the top of the Acropolis once inside.

We couldn’t figure out why the audio wasn’t just moving from one thing to the next. We had to keep manually going to the place we were at. Then at the end we realized we entered at a different entrance and did last what the audio program wanted us to do first had we entered in the other side. Still great info tho. Just wish it had gone more smoothly

Great easy way to get tickets! The official Greek site is unforgiving and inconvenient. Worth the extra few bucks to skip the trouble, and the line! Even if you skip the audio guide that comes with the tour, keep an ear out for other guides in your language. Taking a break under a tree can turn into overhearing lots of great stories! Or, better yet, hire a guide yourself. You'll learn much more than from the signs around the area, and won't have to stand in the sun staring at them (instead of the ruins themselves).
