What people are saying about Adrianou Street

We had an afternoon food tour of Athens with Irene. We were a group of 10- 11 on a hot, spring day. Irene welcomed us all warmly, and encouraged us to introduce ourselves and connect as a group. The tour itself was excellent. We visited a number of different sites, including a pie bakery, a Greek doughnut cafe, a cafe for Greek coffee, the fish/ meat/ vegetable market, a deli for cheese and cold meats, and a restaurant for wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting. We finished at a gyros stop. Irene looked after us at each stop, keeping us in the shade, hydrated, and well informed of what each site was and what food we were trying. The different stops provided a great overview of Greek cuisine, and the food was always high quality. Irene also added commentary about the city, Greek culture, and history. She was excellent, and the tour was interesting and loads of fun. Thank you!

This was with no doubt the best tour we scheduled while in Athens. She was a fantastic and knowlegeable tour conductor and proved what I always thought: You can learn a culture once you understant what they eat and how they cook it.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour that exceeded our expectations. We would recommend it to anyone who is interested in food and wine. Our guide Irene was very knowledgeable, engaging and easy to understand.

Nice group of people, very good guide and a nice walk through Athens with food and beverage (from Greek coffee to wine and raki and ouzo) tastings along the way. Great way to get a lay of the land!

very nice guide, authentic, a lot of different & various tasting, good experience to better know Greek habits
