Day 1: Cusco – Chinchero – Moray - Salineras – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

Start with a hotel pickup in Cusco at 8:00 AM. Be driven to Chinchero. Explore the archeological site and the colonial church. Visit the handicraft market. Next, settle in for a 1-hour drive to the archeological site of Moray. See circular farming terraces of Moray before heading to the town of Maras which is known for its salt mines. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch while enjoying the view of the mountains. After lunch, visit Salineras, where locals have extracted salt since Incan times. Later, drive to Ollantaytambo to explore the town and archeological site. See the Ollantaytambo ruins, a massive Inca fortress with large stone terraces on a hillside. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Then, take the train to Aguas Calientes and spend the night in a 3-star hotel.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco

On the final day, start early with breakfast in the hotel. Take the first bus up to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, join a guided tour through the most important places in Machu Picchu, like temples, palaces, and plazas. After a 3-hour tour, enjoy free time to explore the citadel. Next, take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch. Finally, hop on the Visatdoem train back to Cusco. Arrive back at your hotel at around 7.30 PM.
