    Discover the fields of lavender in Pays de Sault on a full-day tour from Aix-en-Provence. Visit the hilltop villages of Saignon and Gordes, and marvel at the scenic views.

    After meeting your driver-guide at the meeting point in Aix-en-Provence, set off on your tour. Drive through the Luberon Natural Regional Park along the picturesque and winding Combe of Lourmarin.

    Reach the Plateau of Claparèdes, with its numerous "bories" (typical dry-stoned houses) among the lavender fields. Then, arrive in the hilltop village of Saignon to enjoy a breathtaking panorama.

    Next, drive to Pays de Sault, famous for its wide lavender fields in bloom. Stop in Sault, “the capital of lavender.” and enjoy some free time to explore and grab lunch (not included) on your own.

    In the afternoon, discover one of the most beautiful villages in France, Gordes, a village erected on a cliff. Admire the fortified castle and church that dominate the typical houses of the village, which were built with stones from the rock on which they stand. After, return to the tour's starting point.

    My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour. We feel like we really got to see and experience the area. Our guide, Natalie, was very knowledgeable and so much fun. We wanted to pack her up and take her with us on the remainder of our travels. The towns were so cute and we had several opportunities for pictures in the lavender fields.     Rent was a great guide. He gave us lots of information and fun stories. The day was long but it was broken up nicely with stops on the drive to see medical villages and historic towns. We got to see many beautiful lavender fields and take al the pics we wanted.

    Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert! Fahrt im klimatisierten, modernen Kleinbus mit genügend Platz. Unser Guide teilte viele interessante Geschichten und Informationen rund um das Thema Lavendel und Provence mit uns. Die gesamte Tour war in englischer Sprache - man sollte also mindestens Grundkenntnisse haben, ansonsten wird es schwierig die Hindergründe zu verstehen. Durch die kleine Gruppe (wir waren 5 Personen) konnte der Guide gut auf unsere Fragen eingehen. An den Zeitplan wurde sich genau gehalten. Trotzdem hatte man genügend Zeit für Fotos und Freizeit (Mittagspause). Toilettenstops fanden in angemessenen Abständen statt. Es hat total Spaß gemacht und war genau so wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe! Malerische Landschaft und dieser Duft. . .100% Provence-Feeling. Daumen nach oben und 5 Sterne!!!
