What people are saying about Al Haouz

The tour to the Atlas Mountains & the 5 valleys was absolutely fantastic, I highly recommend it. Our guide Marone (Marwan) is very knowledgeable about the history of the "free people" and the region. He was very accommodating and kind. Marone sang a cappella a song/poem from the mountains... it was definitely moving and inspiring. We visited an atelier where Argan oil products are manufactured and sold... Ladies, buy the Moroccan Argan oil, the one we find in the U.S. is a blend, the pure moroccan oil is fragrance free. In Morocco you will be able to find both: cosmetics & eatable products derived from the fruit of the Argan tree. The hike to the Ourika waterfall was fabulous, worth the visit (Abdul, our guide was great and made sure everybody was safe). Lunch was also very special, we ate at the house of a berber family (best tajine poulet I had in Morocco). Marone educated us and showed us the best landscaping in the area. With his magic, Marone made the tour unforgettable!

We had a fantastic trip into the atlas mountains. We were picked up by Marwan who was our guide for the day. What a great guy. He was very knowledgeable as well as funny and a genuinely nice man. He really made our trip enjoyable. We had a hike up the waterfalls with a local guide who really looked after us and made sure we got up and down safely. We visited a women's cooperative who made products with area oil, no obligation to buy. And then we drive further up into the mountains to have a meal cooked by a traditiinal berber family. The view from our dinner table was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our day out. Marwan was also a fantastic singer. He sang for us in the car. He was a truly talented man who speaks several languages and we wish him good luck in everything that he does. I would highly recommend this trip.

Nice tour with a nice and skilled guide that spoked good English. Car (Mercedes Vito) was also nice. You will during this tour get a nice introduction to the Atlas Mountains. Tasteful and delicate lunch served in exotic environment. The trip to the waterfalls requires good shoes. Guide had also useful and interesting stories about Morocco. During the tour there will be several possibilities to take nice photos, so bring your camera.
