What people are saying about Alajuela Province

A very entertaining tour that also made you think about your own consumption. The introduction to the history of cocoa cultivation and chocolate production was very exciting. Afterwards we were allowed to go through the plantation, taste a "potion of the gods" and taste liquid chocolate with all kinds of toppings.

It was a really great tour - not too long, just the right amount of time. Perfect for families with teenagers as my kids also enjoyed it, especially the chocolate process demonstration. Was nice to be able to try different combo of toppings added to the homemade chocolate.
