The hot springs felt good. The ice hotel was fun to see. Getting the appletini drink took almost the whole hour as there was one person making drinks and a VERY LARGE crowd that was scheduled for the tour. The atmosphere of the activity center, which is where the night sky viewing room is, was like that of a basic ski center or camp type situation. There was a long wait in the main dining room so we ended up buying soup in a bowl to heat in the microwave at the activity center.

    10. From Fairbanks: Northern Lights and Arctic Circle Tour

Experience Alaska like you have never seen it before while enjoying a comfortable drive and narration from your expert guide. Travel along the famous and rugged Dalton Highway (well-known from the TV show Ice Road Truckers) to the Arctic Circle, where the summer nights are white and the winter dark. The travel itinerary is flexible to ensure guests can take advantage of unique photo opportunities. The tour will incorporate many stops for your viewing pleasure. Please note that seeing the Northern Lights is not guaranteed.

Who would have thought I could say a 15hr van ride with 9 strangers on a supremely bumpy road, was fun?! It was awesome! All the stops were well timed, informative, and beautiful. The guide, Jake, was knowledgeable, and skilled at navigating the Dalton. And even though the clouds were there,he showed us it was possible to see the Northern Lights burning through in some places. The skies did clear up some on the drive back, and even though it was 3am, our guide still made sure to stop where he could so we could all get out and look up. Had a great time and 10/10 would do again.

We enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very friendly and positive, took us to his favorite spot where the view of Aurora Borealis was really spectacular. He even took pictures for us as not all cameras are friendly to take night shots. We highly recommend Healy Denali Aurora Quest tour to all.

It was amazing...we were lucky enough to have a warm, sunny day with just a few clouds around the base of Denali. Our pilot was wonderful, excellentbpilot and narrator. Flying up the glacier and through the Great Canyon was a magnificent experience.
