On this 3-hour tour in a comfortable catamaran through the most beautiful waters of the Algarve, always with professional guide telling you about the fauna and flora of Ria Formosa Natural Park. Discover the two main islands of Deserta Island, 11 kilometers of beach at the southern most point of Portugal and Farol Island, a holiday island with a lighthouse. Cross the channels of Ria Formosa Natural Park until Deserta Island, where you will make a 45 minute stop, then travel to Farol Island with another 45 minute stop to see the lighthouse and its community. During the tour, observe the resident birds and when the tide lowers, the shellfish.

Highly recommended trip

Thank to the off-season, we spent a pleasant, romantic 3-hour trip in Ria Formosa. As only we took part in the morning tour (my husband and me), we have the opportunity to enjoy the full attention of the captain. He was very kind, and helpful, answered all of our questions, and told interesting stories for us. The lagoon itself is marvelous. We preferred the desert island, altough Farol was also almost empty in this season.

Little was told by the skipper . I expected to hear more about the flora and fauna. It was more like a "taxi service", you were dropped off at the islets and that was it. There was also a lot of rubbish on Deserta island, too bad.

average quality / price ratio, it is written on the advertisement transfer hotel activity included but this is not the case, 2h45 and not 3h, the Farol island is rather pretty but remains expensive for what it is.
