What people are saying about Almere

We read lots of negative reviews about the Floriade. However we reall loved it and had a fabulous day. We had a lovely guide, Peter who was very informative and we learnt so much about the area. Was a very good move to have a guide and would highly recommend it. We did not think the entry was overpriced at all, no extra cost for the guided tour, the cable car, the virtual balloon ride. Just loved it!!! Highly recommended.

A very interesting and instructive garden show. We really liked the great ideas for gardens of the future. The free shuttle bus from the train station to the exhibition and back is a good solution. At the entrance you get a drinking cup and can get drinking water for free all day long. That was very commendable in the heat. Everything was clean and tidy. Kudos to the organization.

Super organized. Getting to the exhibition grounds by bus shuttle is very good. Restaurants and toilets everywhere along the railing. Many places where drinking water can be tapped. Attention: Anyone expecting a garden exhibition will be disappointed.

The Floriade is definitely worth a trip. We took the package by bus from Amsterdam and were able to fully enjoy the day. At this point also a thank you to our guide RICK who told us a lot of interesting information about Holland.

Surprising to see so much innovation and to experience the beautiful terrain. Had a great and educational day at the Floriade!
