1. Cabo de Gata: Tour of 5 Beaches by Yacht Motorboat

Start your coastal cruise in the traditional fishing port of Carboneras. Sail to la Cala del Corral and las Salinicas. Admire the crystal-clear waters and volcanic cliffs of Playa de los Muertos.  Then, navigate the Cabo de Mesa Roldan. See its fossilized coral reef and the Mesa Roldán Lighthouse. Continue on to Cala Puente, Cala Sorbas, and Cala Castillo until you arrive at the small fishing town of Agua Amarga. Marvel at the best views of this small town from the sea. Drop anchor at the secluded Cala de Enmedio. Swim and snorkel in its clear waters before heading back to the port of Carboneras.

Daytrip to Cabo de Gata–Nijar Natural Park

2. Daytrip to Cabo de Gata–Nijar Natural Park

Tucked into the south-eastern corner of Spain lies one of the few remaining unspoiled stretches of the Mediterranean coast: Cabo de Gata. Spend a day exploring this untouched region with a day-long bus trip to Cabo de Gata–Nijar Natural Park Accompanied by your guide, you will be transported to a captivating landscape of dizzying cliffs, ruined castles, volcanic rock formations, coral reefs, pristine beaches and hidden coves - all virtually unchanged since the days of the Phoenicians. Mermaid Reef, the fishing village of La Isleta del Moro, and the lighthouse of Cabo de Gata are but a few of the many highlights of this tour. Featuring one of the most beautiful coastlines of the Mediterranean and vast ecological diversity, Cabo de Gata is, without a doubt, one of Europe's last areas of untouched nature.

What people are saying about Almeria

Great way for non driving tourists to see the Cabo de Gata - we had a number of different stops along the coastline and a great 3 hour free time from 2.00 at the restaurants and beach of San Jose. Our driver, Christian , did a fantastic job - not only driving a bus load of tourists around on a 9 hour day but also giving commentary in both Spanish and English all day - driver and guide all rolled into one !! The only downside was having an out of town pickup and drop off point in Almeria

A wonderful two-hour walk along a splendid coastline. A swim in clear, warm waters. The skipper of the boat was very friendly. We had a great time. The activity is consistent with the description and very good value for money.

A way to get to know the Volcanic Coast of Carboneras and its surrounding coves and take a bath in its waters is priceless

The excursion was good we liked it a lot and the driver and guide cristian was very nice cheerful and attentive

Very nice walk, we were able to swim in the beautiful and very good water.
