    1. Combi Entrance Ticket to Alpine Zoo and Hungerburg

Innsbruck's Alpine Zoo is unique worldwide in its function as an Alpine theme-zoo. Observe several species of animals that can only be found within the alp region. It is extremely family friendly but also offers a great variety of activities for grown ups. It is situated on the sunny side of the Inn valley, directly at the foot of the Nordkette and high above Innsbruck's rooftops. With the combi-ticket Alpine Zoo, the zoo is comfortably reachable from the city center. It is only a few minutes directly from the Congress Station to the Alpine Zoo station with the Hungerburg funicular. From there the entrance of the Alpine Zoo is only a few meters away. Your combi-ticket Alpine Zoo includes a round trip with the Hungerburg funicular and the entrance to the Alpine Zoo.

Cute zoo. Small and rather quiet in winter but well done and interesting. 99% signage in German though so we missed some details.

Very easy with the hungerbergbahnen to a nice zoo in the middle of the mountains with beautiful views. Nice that only animals from the Alphen can be seen. Especially the wolves, lynks and bears are impressive animals which are easy to see! Very nice afternoon (the zoo is quite small, within 3 hours you have seen everything)

Nice walk on the mountainside. Possibility of seeing the animals from very close by the paths which pass inside the sites of visit. Ideal for discoveries with children. Easy access from the city center with the funicular and free parking under the congress hall

Worth seeing

I'm Tyrolean and yet you should visit the alpine zoo from time to time, especially if you have children. The gastronomy has a lot of room for improvement though the staff are friendly and helpful
