What people are saying about Amazonas

This was the trip of a lifetime. Joshua and his team were highly organised and punctual and ensured the entire trip ran smoothly. As we went in low season, we had a guide, Kennedy, all to ourselves. His passion for the jungle and river was incredible and he ensured we experienced as much of it as we could in the short time with him (about 3 experiences per day). The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the air con worked well. The staff spoke very little English but they were clearly having a good time and were very accommodating. The food was some of the best we’ve had in Brazil, which is saying something after coming from São Paulo. Hearty breakfasts of fruit and cake followed by huge portions of fish for lunch and dinner. We opted for the night in the jungle. It was a great experience with a tasty bbq, stargazing, and waking to a beautiful sunrise. But be prepared to be hot and not get much sleep. Overall, I’m very glad we chose Joshua’s Amazon Expeditions!

bsolutely unforgettable experience spending 4 days at the lodge! I think 4d/3n is the best option, so you can experience everything. The program is well put ane gradually builds your excitement for light canoeing and fishing experiences on the first day, to exploring the jungle and finally spending night at the rainforest. I would rate this experience 9/10, as on the day 3 you have a chance to meet 'local people', which for most of the tourists are understood as meeting indigenous people, but unfortunately that's not the case. The same as sleeping in the rainforest vs dry land. Luckily our guide could take us in the rainforest for extra fee, but it wasn't provided by the company as an option. Overall, the experience was AMAZING and major of it is thanks to Marcus - exception guide who made our stay truly special!

Tour was amazing, especially our tour guide Maxy! Maxy was funny, insightful and always went above and beyond to get us to have the best experience possible (finding animals, story telling and the incredible tree climb). Thanks for a great time!

Nice tour in the jungle. I recommend to stay 4 days because it was an amazing experience, especially sleeping in the jungle and grilling food. Good balance between activities and time to relax.

Our tour guide Marcious is a Superman , always smiling, try his best for us! Obrigada Marcious!
