Spend 2, 3, or 4 days in the Amazon, and discover the lush rain forests containing nearly 40,000 plant species and an incomparable variety of animals and birds. Choose between private cabins with fans or air conditioning to enjoy the most of this Amazonian adventure. Visit Jungle Lodge Anaconda Island Inn on the banks of the Rio Negro. Use the guest lounge, swimming pool, and restaurant, with rooms with mosquito screens and natural water showers. Enjoy daily breakfast buffet features seasonal fruits and juices, bread, milk, and coffee. Lunch and dinner feature grilled meat or chicken, regional fish, salads, pasta, rice, juices, and soft drinks. Day 1: Start with pickup from the lobby of your hotel and travel from Manaus by speed boat to Cacau Pirera. Travel by car to the village of Paricatuba. From this village, travel by motorized canoe to the Lodge. After lunch, with the bilingual guide, take a canoe trip through small creeks and go fishing for piranhas. A nocturnal expedition will allow you to see alligators and other wildlife that are hidden during the daytime.   Day 2: Enjoy breakfast, followed by an educational jungle walk. During the walk, the guide will teach you about medicinal plants and the trees of the Amazon rainforest. The high altitude means different plant life, bigger trees, and denser forest. After this, return to the lodge for lunch and free time for swimming in the tea-colored waters of the Rio Negro. If a 3 or 4-day option booked, take a paddling canoe trip through small channels (Igarapés) or flooded lands (Igapós), depending on the season. Day 3 (optional): Take an early sunrise tour, breakfast, and then visit the home of local natives. These "Caboclos" maintain a traditional lifestyle and they are proud people who are happy to share their way of living. Here the guide will also explain about local farming techniques. If 4-day option is booked, have lunch, and depart for overnight camping in the jungle with a local guide. The experienced jungle guide will show you all you need to know about extracting everything that is needed from the rainforest without destroying it. There will also be an opportunity to see some wildlife and you will be able to listen to the chorus of birds, howler monkeys, and other animals at night. Day 4 (optional): Have breakfast in the jungle, and then travel back to the lodge. After lunch, you will have free time to swim in the tea-colored waters of the Rio Negro. Prepare to travel back to Manaus, arriving in the late afternoon.

3. From Manaus: 3, 4 or 5-Day Jungle Tour at Tucan Lodge

Day 1: At 8 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel and transported to the Port of Ceasa, where you’ll board a boat to see the magnificent confluence of the waters at the junction of the Rio Negro and The Amazon rivers. The trip will continue for 1.5 hours by car on the highway to Ubim Lake. Continue by speed boat on a 30 to 50-minute ride (depending on the level of the waters during the time of year of your visit). Arriving at the lodge, you will be welcomed with refreshments as your accommodation is prepared. At noon, lunch is served. Afterward, there is a little time to relax and to prepare things for the activities of this first day. At 2:30 PM the group will depart in a motorized canoe for piranha fishing, bird watching, and a wonderful sunset from the middle of the river. Back at the lodge, dinner will be served at 7 PM. After dinner, depart again by motorized canoe, this time to spot Cayman. Your guide, using only his bare hands, will capture a Cayman and explain this most-feared animal of the Amazonian rivers. There will be opportunities to get great photos of this beautiful creature. Day 2: Breakfast is served at 7 AM. From 8 AM to 1130 AM, trek through the jungle and your guide will explain the flora, fauna, and medicinal plants found only in the Amazon. There is also a chance to observe spiders and other animals. At noon, it is back to the Lodge for lunch. At 230 PM, the group will depart to visit an Indigenous community where you will attend a ritual celebration of dancing and singing. It is a great opportunity for photos and videos! Afterward, the group will return to the lodge arriving at 545 PM. Day 3: Breakfast is served at 7 AM. From 8 AM to 11 AM the group will explore local streams by boat looking out for wildlife. Afterward, the group will head to a floating house to visit the Fish farm of the Giant Pirarucu. You can feed them and feel how strong they are. Then you’ll have the opportunity to not only see, but swim with the dolphins, some of the most wonderful and legendary mammals of the Amazonian rivers. This is also a fantastic opportunity to get once-in-a-lifetime photos and videos! After your swim, it is back to the lodge for a midday meal. If you have chosen the 3-day option, at 230 PM begin your journey back to Manaus with arrival scheduled at 430 PM. Your tour will conclude at your hotel or the airport. For longer tours, get prepared At 3 PM, head out on a boat trip to the Ariau river to explore the region, enjoying some birdwatching, as well as spotting monkeys and other animals that are found here. During the dry season from September to April there is an opportunity to hike in the Vazea area. After, it’s back to the lodge for the night. Day 4: The day starts with breakfast at 7 AM. After breakfast, at 830 AM, the group will leave by boat to explore the small channel (igarape) looking out for some wildlife and other creatures that can be found among the river and channel. This trip is done on a regional boat so that we can get through the channels. Then we head back to the Lodge for lunch. If you have chosen the 4-day option, return to the lodge by 11 AM and at 2 PM begin your journey back to Manaus. Arrive at around 430 PM where you will be taken to the airport or your hotel accommodation. If you have chosen the 5-day option, At 330 PM, the group will leave the lodge to camp overnight in the jungle, sleeping in hammocks with mosquito nets, where dinner will be prepared in the jungle on the fire. Day 5:  Once the sun rises, the group will return to the lodge for breakfast which is served at 7 AM, after breakfast, go and visit a local community and learn about their way of living in the jungle. There will be an opportunity to buy some handicrafts made in the community. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for lunch. At 230 PM, begin your journey back to Manaus with an arrival scheduled at 430 PM. Your tour will conclude at your hotel or the airport.

Spend a day in the Amazon, the world’s largest river basin and the source of one-fifth of all free-flowing fresh water on Earth. Its rainforests are the planet’s largest and most luxuriant, and home to – amazingly – one in ten of Earth's known species. Containing nearly 40,000 plant species, the Amazon sustains the world’s richest diversity of birds, freshwater fish and butterflies. One of the world’s last refuges for jaguars, harpy eagles and pink dolphins, its thousands of tree species are home to southern two-toed sloths, pygmy marmosets and Goeldi’s monkeys. Your tour will begin with a pick-up at your Manaus hotel, or airport. From there you will enjoy a boat cruise to Lake January to see the meeting of the waters at Negro and Amazon Rivers. Switch to canoes and enter the waterway for dolphin observation and to visit the famous Victoria Regia water lilies. Sail by speedboat to an indigenous village, where you will interact with the indigenoue peoples of the Dessanos and Tucanos. Start your day with pickup from your hotel at approximately 8:00 AM. Drive west from Manaus for about one and a half hours until you reach the Ubin lake where your host will be waiting for you. Take a speedboat heading towards the jungle to begin a 2-hour trek. Learn more about Amazonian fauna and flora, medicinal plants, and jungle survival techniques.  From this walk, visit a project for the protection of pink river dolphins. Learn about these beautiful and friendly creatures, and the conservation efforts underway to protect them. Take the unique opportunity to enter the water to interact with them. Your adventure starts at your hotel at 8:00AM, from where you will take to the road. You will drive north for about 1.5 hours, after which you will eventually arrive to the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo. Once your reach the Iracema Park, you will start a 20-minute jungle walk to reach a breath taking scenery while also developing an understanding of the Amazon Jungle. During your hike, walk through one of the most beautiful grottos in Brazil that was the setting for many films and documentaries and see the fauna and flora of this remarkable region. Enjoy a relaxing swim at a big and beautiful waterfall, visit the grottos, and see the Amazon jungle. Following your cave exploration, you will visit a restaurant by the rapids of Urubuí where you will enjoy a lunch consisting of delicious fish and other delicacies from the region. On the first day, you'll start around at around 8:00 AM, being picked up from your accommodation and then heading to the port. Here, you'll take a boat and head off for a full day of activities. One of the many highlights of the first day is the meeting of the waters from the Negro and Solimões rivers.  You'll get to visit the floating village of Catalão and the Pirarucu fish farm (the biggest freshwater fish with scales). See the lake with water lilies, go piranha fishing, and, depending on the season, ride through the flooded forests. Learn about a different way of life as you visit an indigenous tribe, go on a night excursion looking for caymans, and then spend the night in a local river dweller's home. A tour combining piranha fishing and alligator spotting is a good option for those who want to enjoy an exciting and authentic Amazon experience. This adventure begins at the river terminal in Manaus, where you will board the boat bound for the coast of Iranduba. On the journey you will explore more of Manaus including the palafitas (stilt houses), the landscape, the local fishermen, and the ribeirinhos (native people). Upon arrival in Iranduba, you will look for a good place to go piranha fishing. The Solimões River is much richer in fish that the Rio Negro and you are likely to catch various types of catfish. Here you can enjoy fishing with a rod made of bamboo and learn how the native Caboclos people fish. When it starts to get dark, you will head off in search of alligator. The naturalist guide will do his best to capture an alligator with his bare hands so you can take a close look at the fascinating animal. After providing information about the alligator, the instructor will then return the animal back to its natural habitat.

Day 1:At 8:00 AM you are transferred from your hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat takes tourists to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Rio Negro and Solimões River meet. During the Journey, there is a stop to visit the Fish Farm of the Arapaima gigas (pirarucu). From there you are taken to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões River. The excursion continues by car (van) for about one hour to Mamori River.  A final trip by speedboat takes you to the lodge, arriving there at approximately 11:30 AM. At 3:00 PM the activities begin. Leave the lodge by canoe for dolphin and bird watching, piranha fishing, and end the day watching a spectacular sunset around 6:30 PM, and then head back to the lodge for dinner. At night you will enjoy a thrilling experience of Cayman spotting. Day 2:At 5:30 AM, you are taken by canoe to watch the sunrise of a new day in the Amazon rainforest. Return to the lodge around 7:00 AM for breakfast. Shortly after, you will do a jungle trek that takes up the rest of the morning. During the walk much is learned about medicinal plants, trees, and insects such as spiders and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys. If the 3, 4, or 5-day option is booked, the afternoon activity starts at 3:00 PM. A canoeing adventure in the flooded forest and small channels. Spend some hours quietly passing through the Amazon jungle while observing the flora and fauna explained to you by native guides. After dinner, go out on a motorized boat for the Night Safari, where there will be a good chance to spot some wildlife along the river and small channels in the Amazon. Day 3:From 8:00 AM-11:00 AM, visit the home of a local family to learn about their simple but fantastic way of life in the forest. Return to the lodge for lunch, if the 3-day option is booked, and depart for Manaus at approximately 1:30 PM, arriving at approximately 4:30 PM. If the 4 or 5-day option is booked, take the chance to explore the small channels and spot some birds, monkeys, Caymans, and dolphins after lunch. Optionally, take the chance to learn about the nocturnal life by staying overnight in the forest, with a chance of spearfishing. Day 4:Learn survival techniques and plenty of facts about the forest. Have the opportunity to spearfish, trek, and canoe. Return to the lodge, where lunch is served. If the 4-day option is booked, leave for Manaus after lunch, and arrive at around 4:30 PM. If the 5-day option is booked, prepare yourself to camp out in the woods and spend the night in the forest escorted by a professional guide. Day 5:Return to the lodge at around 11:00 AM. After enjoying lunch, leave the lodge and head back to Manaus.
