Ester was a really good guide, lots of knowledge for the tour (also added her personal touch to the tour from facts of her own life as she was raised in a windmill herself which was really interesting) and she made the whole experience the highlight of our visit to Amsterdam. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Europe. Our guide was very kind and very knowledgeable of the town. She, herself, is a resident there. We got to take a bus from the middle of Amsterdam out to the town. We visited the windmill, the chocolate store, the chocolate store were we got to make our own hot cocoa (and let me tell you I had more than one), and we visited a clog factory. All of these shops had demonstrations and they were done in English since that's what most of the tour spoke. The tour did take all three hours but it wasn't tedious. I will absolutely be visiting that town again. There is a lot of walking so that is the only think to take into account!

Location was easy to find with great sights to see along the way. After a small delay, we headed out to this very beautiful little town- going up the windmills was a childhood bucket list and the sun managed to grace the moment. Wonderful authentic Dutch experience overall- amazing organic truffle cheese. Definitely a must do. It’s only 30min from town! Thank you David and the driver (didn’t get your name.
