Our original tour guide was not available and our actual tour guide, Raoul, was only informed the day before. Despite this, he was very friendly, informative, took us to a few places just out of the way of some of the touristy areas and gave us some history and background on the way of life in Amsterdam. He brought us to his favourite places to eat herring and fried cod, a small bar for local cheeses, a small gelato place and an Indonesian restaurant for some authentic snacks to finish up. All was delicious! Highly recommend.
This Food tour with Liad was the highlight of my stay in Amsterdam. The guide is amazing and comes with knowledgeable information about Dutch food and how it evolved over time. The market is beautiful and lively. You get to taste a lot of food for the relative low price and you even get a small beer tasting included in a local bar.
By far the best activity in Amsterdam! The combination between a canal cruise and a food tour works really wel, you get to see the beautiful canals while eating delicious food and hearing stories about the city. The boat looked very classy and the crew was super welcoming! Worth the money 100%
We had a really enjoyable tour walking around the city and trying mostly street foods. We were surprised by how much we liked the pickled herring! Our tour guide was informative and kindly gave us restaurant recommendations for the rest of our stay.
We had a very nice Time with several stops at the secret Food Places of Amsterdam. Our tour guide Louke is a lovely person wich really loves her job. It’s one of the things you have to do if you are visiting Amsterdam!!!
