It’s classic Greco-Roman, with a half-moon of seats facing out to sea. Kolossi Castle is the next stop. This Crusader-era castle is surrounded by flowering plants and a pretty courtyard. Hop back on the bus and head to Fini where lunch will be served at a local tavern. Later, stop at the mountain-ringed village of Omodos where you will have a guided walk through the village. To round off your trip, you'll have the opportunity to taste traditional Cyprus wine in a local winery before heading back to the resorts.

Our tour guide and driver were lovely. The winery was first class and the owner himself made us all very welcome. His wine and nibbles were delicious. This was followed by an awesome Cypriot meal in a mountain village. Would have been handy for a pick up at Akrotiri as we had a 45 minute drive to start the trip. Kolossi castle, (the first stop) was only 15 mins away. The driver was accommodating on the way home and dropped us off. However, Well worth the money for a wonderful taste of Cyprus. Would definitely use this company again next time I come to visit my daughter.

I had a lovely time at the archaeological site, it was greatly enhanced by having the audio playing as you approach each point of interest. I think some changes to small areas have occurred since it was recorded, so if you follow the map on this app is tries to take you off the planned pathway a tiny bit but it’s obvious you need to turn back on yourself rather than try to scramble up a rocky bank. I found it really helpful and the narrator has a nice voice. You do also have to pay to enter the site, it’s not much €4.50 so entrance is not inc,

Phivos was an excellent host! Learned and observed many things! Yesterday’s excursion was also excellent
