The hike through Camitito Del Rey was one of the highlights of our trip. Especially for people who do not come from Malaga and are more likely to stay in Nerja and the surrounding area. You can hike through the mountains at your own pace and have incredibly beautiful views and paths. We also learned a lot of interesting things from the guide about the area. All in all, the guide(s) are very nice and friendly and speak many languages (German, English, Spanish, Italian). It was truly an incredible experience that we would recommend to anyone staying in southern Spain.

Fantastic place to visit. Total walk is about 5 miles with some steep and narrow steps so you need to be reasonably fit and able manage lots of steps. The walk other than that is not difficult or scary, unless heights are a major issue for you. At the end of the walk there is a range of food and drink outlets, all reasonably priced.

I'm glad I did it. I was worried about the height and the safety. This tour is very well managed. We had a large group about 50 but we had two tour guides which split up the in two groups more manageable. They make sure everyone safe and for some folks that were at a slower pace, they made sure they were doing ok. Afterwards, we went to the restaurant for wine tasting and lunch if desired (not included). The food was delicious.
