The morning is then filled with visiting and enriching yourself with a number of temples within the ancient grounds. Starting with the Angkor Thom complex, your first stop will be Bayon. Built in the latter part of the 12th Century by King Jayavarman VII, Bayon is one of the most widely recognized temples in the Angkor Park because of the giant stone faces that adorn the towers of Bayon. There are 54 towers of faces with 4 faces on each tower, Bayon consists of 216 faces, a sight not to be missed. The next stop is Ta Prohm, a jungle clad temple that offers a strange beauty as the stone works intertwine with jungle vines. Depart in the morning from your hotel with private transportation to Phnom Kulen National Park. Drive through wide open rice fields and scattered villages with traditional houses, before winding up the rocky road to the top of the mountain. Phnom Kulen is widely regarded as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. During the construction of the ancient temples, sandstones were brought from this sacred mountain to Angkor. Kulen is considered by Khmers to be the most sacred mountain in Cambodia. Visit the River of 1000 Lingas, divided into three ports for the Hindu trinity gods, and with a riverbed filled with thousands of unique, ancient carvings. Ascend to the summit of the hill to marvel at the Buddhist Pagoda and the large Reclining Buddha statue. Continue to the waterfalls of Kulen, pausing at two beautiful spots for a swim and perhaps a spot of lunch. Day One:  Get picked up from your accommodation at 8:00 am by your driver and tour guide and travel directly to Beng Mealea, a sprawling jungle temple that covers over one square kilometer. Enjoy the adventurous and mysterious feeling of exploring a temple complex largely overrun by vegetation and off the beaten tourist path. Discuss your lunch preferences with your guide before stopping at a local restaurant. Afterwards, head to the floating village Kampong Phluk on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Southeast Asia. Enjoy a guided boat trip through the floating village. Then get dropped off back at your accommodation. Day Two:  Get picked up again at 8:00 am and purchase a 3-day temple pass before heading to the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Visit some small temples, including Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanon, and Ta Keo. Then head to the jungle temple Ta Prohm where the movie Tomb Raider was shot. Refuel afterwards with lunch at a local restaurant. Then make your way to the Buddhist temple of Banteay Kdei. Gain insight into the history of the powerful Khmer Empire before heading to Phnom Bakheng to see a gorgeous sunset. Day Three:  Get an early start at 5:00 am on the final day of the tour. Get picked up and see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Following this, you can choose to visit more temples including Pre Rup and Banteay Samre. Then head to Banteay Srey, arriving before most of the crowds. Marvel at the most intricately carved temple in all of Angkor. Afterwards, see a traditional Khmer village and learn about palm sugar production. If you are interested, visit the Landmine Museum and learn how decades of conflict, foreign occupation, and brutal civil war and genocide have impacted Cambodia.  Afterwards, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. On the way back, stop at a few more temples such as East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan, a fascinating vast monastic complex. The return trip will take you through many beautiful villages and provide you with great photo opportunities. Get dropped off back at your accommodation at the end of your day.

Day 1: Full-Day Angkor Temples guided tour At 8:00 am meet your guide and driver at your hotel You will start your morning tour at Angkor Wat and travel through the vast collection of ancient temples. Your guide will take you to the best spots to make sure you capture the best photos of Angkor Wat. 10:00 am - 11:30 am When you have finished discovering Angkor Wat, you will then head out into the center of Angkor Thom and enter the city through the Ancient Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with elephants and four giant faces. Named after the Samré, an ancient people of Indochina, the temple uses the same materials as the Banteay Srei. 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Continue your journey to visit Banteay Srei. Along the way, you will have a chance to stop at a palm sugar village where the locals produce sugar from palm juice. Palm sugar is becoming more popular in local cuisine and is taking over from traditional white sugar. 12:30 pm -2:30 pm You will have lunch at the local restaurant and continue to Banteay Srei, where your guide will take you around the complex and tell you about the history of the temple. As the day heats up, we drive back to your hotel. Day 3: Explore the life of Floating Village and Sunset cruise At 2:30 pm meet your guide and driver at your hotel You will be picked up from your hotel and head south of Siem Reap through the picturesque Cambodian countryside. Stop at a local family house surrounded by rice paddies and farms. Day 1:  Start your journey morning at 7.30 AM when you'll set off through the countryside to the world’s second-largest freshwater, Tonle Sap Lake. Take a boat trip to ‘Kampong Phluk’ a collection of 3 small fishing villages in an atmospheric flooded forest setting. Cruise through the village and see unique houses on stilts, and locals at work in the floating forest. In the afternoon, visit the first temple, the Roulous temple group. The ruins of Roulous are among the oldest Khmer monuments in the area, dating back to the 9th-century. Day 2:  Begin with a pre-dawn departure from your hotel to see the sunrise outside Angkor Wat. After lunch and a rest break, set out for the jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Day 3:  Visit the most interesting temples outside Angkor Thom city. Your first stop is at Pre Rup Hindu temple. Built as the state temple it is a mountain temple made of combined brick, laterite, and sandstone. Continue on a drive to the intricately carved and well-preserved Banteay Srei. The detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest, most skillfully crafted in Cambodia. Banteay Srei has only been accessible since the late 1990s when the Khmer Rouge left the area. On your return journey see the Neak Pean temples, an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island. Finish the final day by going to Preah Khan temple, a ruined but highly atmospheric mélange of tree roots and crumbling stone structures.

Bunnak our guide and his driver ya , are very nice . They handed out water all through the day, which was perfect as the weather was so hot. Bunnak speaks English well and know a lot about the temples history and Cambodian culture. He is funny and knows all the best photo spots. He made our experience of exploring Angkor Wat and surrounding temples such a memorable time ! Would definitely recommend!
