Full description

After pickup from your hotel in Athens, start the 2.5-hour journey to Delphi by car or minivan. Once you have arrived, begin your day exploring the rich and ancient history of this famous city. Visit some of the city's most famous archeological sites. First, you will explore the sanctuaries of Apollo and Athena Pronaia before heading to the ancient stadium and theater. Continue to the Delphi ruins and the Temple of Apollo, before heading to the Delphi Archaeological Museum. See archeological artifacts and learn more about the rich history of Delphi at the museum. You have the option to spend 2 hours visiting the village of Arachova, where you can enjoy coffee or lunch. Alternatively, you can choose to have lunch or coffee in Delphi instead. After exploring Delphi and relaxing over lunch, begin the 2.5-hour journey back to Athens.

Petros was knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. He was gracious about letting us tailor our experience and the timeline to craft a day that worked best for us - repeatedly reassuring us that his priority was for us to relax and enjoy ourselves on our vacation. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, Delphi was remarkable as was the museum. The views were spectacular, particularly with the mountains by turns drenched in dramatic mists. Arachova was picturesque and charming. Petros made outstanding food recommendations, lunch was delicious with a gorgeous full glass wall view of the valley below. Truly an unforgettable trek, well worth every penny.

It was an amazing trip to Delphi + Arachova and the small stops on the way! My friends and I had a lovely time there and the driver (George) was just perfect; he had so much knowledge about Greek history which he told us about while driving through the city and the mountain terrain. He also recommended a lovely restaurant for lunch and the food was very good. He also had a lot of tips and recommendations for our small (but just perfect) stop in Arachova. We had just the right amount of time to explore the sites, museum and city, the driver let us take our time in every place. In general, it was a perfect trip and the driver made it even better!

George was our driver and he was absolutely awesome. Knowledge was great and he was very friendly. Was worth the price for him alone. On top of that, Delphi is a must. One of the most beautiful places on earth. Dinner was absolutely awesome too. Book it and request George!!
