Keep your eyes out for musky rat-kangaroo, Boyd's forest dragon, rainforest birds, butterflies and flying foxes. After a quick stop at Lake Eacham, visit a private access platypus viewing area in Yungaburra for a 90% chance of seeing the unique mammal. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a restaurant in the township of Yungburra. Then, your nighttime spotlighting adventure begins! Walk under the night stars and into the rainforest. It was magical to be in the rainforest, especially in the night, although it was tiring. I loved seeing the unusual animals, especially the tree kangaroo. I loved the dinner in the old-world hotel restaurant, and the food was good.

Really amazing tour! We saw so many different animals which we otherwise never would've seen including tree kangaroos and a platypus :)

Paul of wait-a-while tour is an excellent guide. We managed to see all animals during the daytime and in the dark.

Great afternoon and evening. Paul was very well informed and we learnt heaps.

Amazing tour with lots of information and a great guide!
