Arriving, you’ll be paired with a horse and provided with all the necessary equipment to set off on a journey through stunning mountain trails. Your guide will lead you through towering juniper forests, steadily through the foothills of the mountain range, up to scenic viewpoints over the Asni Valley and sprawling Al Haouz plains. Ride on to Rha Moulay Brahim, where you’ll drop off your horse. Continue on, via car, to Imlil for a sumptuous local lunch with a view of the highest peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. We had a wonderful day with Ghafour in and around the Atlas Mountains. However, the trip wasn't as advertised and described on get your guide which a shame and misleading. I've given four stars because Ghafour was an exceptionally friendly and helpful guide, always happy and willing to make our day brilliant. Please advertise the trips as they will be received though.

It was not as advertised. The horse back ridding was chosen in preference to walking or hiking but when we arrived at the stables there was a choice of camel or horse. The ride was around a building on the opposite side of the road. The ground was very stoney, not suitable for horses and no helmets were provided; we fowent the invitation to go for a gallop, a fall would have caused serious if not catastrophic injury. We then stopped for a lovely breakfast of bread and oil at women's cooperative before heading onto the gateway of the Atlas mountains, we hiked 90 minutes to our very generous and delicious lunch. We are 60 and 66 years and the hike awakened us to how unfit we are. Overall whilst not the programme advertised we loved the experience and meeting our fellow travellers. Romerro was a great guide, e suring our safety and moderating the pace to suit us. Apogies if you wanted to go a bit quicker. The driver should concentrate more on the road than his . Overall 5 stars
