Experience life in the Sahara Desert on a small group tour to the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Ride a camel across the sands and watch the sunset along the way. Drive across the winding roads of the Middle Atlas Mountains and much more. Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga Depart Fes and pass through the winter ski resort of Ifrane, built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. Continue through the cedar forest of Azrou and look for the resident monkeys before your drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Wind your way through beautiful forests, mountain springs, jagged rocks and Berber villages before your descent to the Sahara Desert. Stop for lunch half-way in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Then, continue towards Merzouga taking in the panoramic views of a huge oasis of palm trees at Ziz along the way. Upon arrival in Rissani, travel by 4WD vehicle into the desert, reaching Merzouga in the afternoon. Here, your guide will be waiting with the camels that will take you across the dunes to Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset from the back of your camel on a one-hour trek to a Berber camp. Upon arrival at the desert shelter, your camels will be tethered as you are served a welcome mint tea. Enjoy dinner and relax as you look at the stars in the sky. Stay overnight in your choice of a shared, private standard, or private luxury tent. Day 2: Merzouga - Tafilalte - Fes Wake early and walk across the dunes to watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, about 50 kilometers from Merzouga. Take a shower after and enjoy breakfast before the drive back to Fes, and benefit from comfort stops on the approximate 7-hour journey. 

Leave Agadir or Taghazout to spend a day exploring the Sahara, Sidi R'bat, Tiznit, and more. Enjoy free time at each location and enjoy a traditional lunch at a Berber house near the Atlas Mountains. Start your excursion with pick up from your hotel around 8:30 AM, followed by a stop at the fisherman village on the wild beach of Sidi R'bat, where you can pop in to see the fishermen's caves and perhaps find some shells at the isolated beach. And then, drive into a Rally way on sand dunes and sandy terrain, along the Atlantic ocean. Have a quick stop at Massa river where you will spot some migrating birds, before driving towards the walled city of Tiznit, where you will see the walls and the ramparts of the old city. We will have a small break in Tiznit for rest and to learn a little about the city, feel free to go for a walk in the old Medina, and browse the handmade Berber silver jewelry. After the visit to Tiznit, drive towards the atlas mountains, to enjoy a lunch of two meals of Tajine and Couscous in a local Berber house, accompanied by a dessert of local seasonal fruits and mint tea. Vegetarian meals can be requested as well. After lunch, enjoy some free time to take photos and explore the sand dunes. Whilst here, you will have the option to take a quick camel ride tour for an additional cost. After the small Sahara stop, travel to the reservoir of Youssef Ben Tachfine (water dam), while taking sights of the everyday Moroccan country lifestyle, for a panoramic view from the top of the hill, before making your way back to your hotel.

Discover the great views of the Atlas Mountains on a guided day tour from Marrakech. Drive through the Tizi n'Tichka pass and explore the charming town of Ait Benhaddou, known for its famous Kasbah. Benefit from pickup at your accommodation in Marrakech, and then journey to the ancient settlement of Ait Benhaddou via the winding roads of the Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, discover the center of Morocco's movie industry and see where films such as "Gladiator" and "Lawrence of Arabia" were shot. Get a wonderful view of the entire valley from the top of a hill, and admire the typical clay architecture of the historic settlement. Take two hours to explore the village and enjoy a meal on a terrace with clear views of the Kasbah. Continue to Telouet and pass from the Ounila Valley. Return to Marrakech and get dropped off at your accommodation on arrival.

Enjoy a day trip from Marrakech to the most beautiful valleys of the High Atlas Mountains region in the company of an experienced guide. First, on your way to Ourika Valley, enjoy the stunning landscapes. Take a 60-90-minute hike to see waterfalls and some spectacular vistas. Along the way, you’ll see Berber women extracting the unique Argan oil. Continue on to the second valley, Oukaimden, and take a secluded mountain road up to 1,800 meters above sea level. You’ll pass through many traditional Berber villages built from adobe and stones, and see the daily life of local Berber people. When you arrive at Sidi Fares, the third valley, you’ll be served a delicious full lunch. Enjoy a typical meal of soup, salad, Berber tajine, couscous, dessert, mint tea and mineral water in a local home surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After that, you’ll visit the fourth valley, Asni, best known for its fruit trees, where you can enjoy the views of the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains. The tour concludes with a drive back to Marrakech via the fifth valley of Tahanaout, arriving back in Marrakech at approximately 5:00 PM, and a drop-off at your accommodation.

Discover and explore deep Berber country in the High Atlas Mountains, and enjoy the landscapes of desert, valleys, villages, and open plains on a full-day trip from Marrakech.  The drive takes you first to the Agafay Desert, just south of Marrakech, where you’ll experience some dune bashing before continuing on to the Lalla Takerkoust region, making your first stop on the hills overlooking the lake. From here you’ll begin a 4x4 adventure on dirt tracks rarely frequented by tourists and climb up to the Kik Plateau, where you’ll drive from village to village meeting locals, visiting Berber homes, and sampling their traditional mint tea and homemade bread.  When you arrive at Imlil Village, located in the heart of Toubkal National Park, you’ll have the option of hiking for an hour to Armed village or continue to the village by 4x4. The 1-hour hike with a local guide is of moderate difficulty. In the village you’ll be served a Berber lamb tagine for lunch at a local home. You’ll also enjoy Moroccan salads and homemade bread during the meal.  After lunch and a short relaxation break, you’ll head down a gentle hill to Imlil village, where you’ll meet your driver for the 1-hour trip back to Marrakech via the Haouz plains.

Day 2:On the second day, after a fantastic breakfast on the rooftop with stunning views, you will take a 3 to 4h hike trip accompanied by your guide This excursion will start in the gorge of the AGOUNDIS Valley in Evening Back to Marrakech.

Day 1 Fez -Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz valley- Merzouga Today, Pick up at 07.30 am from your hotel/riad. Travel from Fez to the Merzouga desert but this will not be any ordinary drive. Stop along the way at a number of enjoyable destinations. The first stop will be Ifrane, the alpine-style townhome to ski slopes and cedar forests situated in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains to observe/feed the Barbary Monkey. Moving to the popular pitstop of Midelt (break for lunch) before carrying on through the lush green Ziz Valley and making a stop in Erfoud before reaching Merzouga. Upon arrival at Merzouga, transfer to the hotel to store your luggage, the camels will be waiting for you for a camel trekking experience (around 45 min). Enjoy the sunset on camelback to nomad tents where you will have dinner under the starry sky with a Berber folklore show (overnight desert camp). Day 2: Transfer Merzouga - Marrakech Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise on the Sahara dunes. Afterward, enjoy a transfer back to Marrakech with a stop for lunch.

You’ll be picked up in Marrakech from where you'll head out in an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle on a drive across the largest mountains in North Africa. En route you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and fertile valleys. This 10-hour trip is priced for a group of up to 4 persons. See the salt mines in the Ounila Valley, the Pacha Glaoui Kasbah, and Telouet. Visit the Ksar (Castle) of Ait-Ben-Haddou, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. The village of Ait-Ben-Haddou is situated on a hill in the Souss Massa Draa region, along the Ouarzazate River. It was an important stop for traders carrying gold, salt, and slaves along the main caravan route through the Sahara. Both Lawrence of Arabia and Jesus of Nazareth were filmed here. The entire lower part of the village was rebuilt, and in recent years, more controlled restoration was carried out under the watchful eye of UNESCO. Lunch will be in a local restaurant in Ait-Ben-Haddou, where you’ll enjoy your meal with panoramic views of the Kasbah. You'll then return to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka pass.

Drive into the heart of the Sahara Desert on a safari that takes in the historic souks and Kasbahs of Aït Benhaddou, Tourirt, and Amerhidil in Skoura. Ride camels over the windswept dunes of Erg Chebbi, sleep in authentic nomad tents, and drive over the dramatic and twisting Tizi n’ Tichka Pass across the High Atlas Mountains. Day 1: Depart Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, via the twisting Tizi n’ Tichka mountain pass to Ouarzazate. Vsit the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, then continue to Ouarzazate center, where you can tour the Atlas Studios, the largest movie studio in Africa. Enjoy lunch at the Kasbah of Tourirt, former residence of the Glaoui Dynasty. Continue to Rose Valley and the Kasbah of Amerhidil in Skoura, situated by the Amerhidil River and one of the largest in Morocco. Overnight in the Dades Valley. Day 2: After breakfast, depart for the Dadès Gorges and stop to enjoy the spectacular scenery while sipping on mint tea, also known as “Berber Whiskey.” Continue to Tinghir via Boulman Dadès, and see beautiful palm trees and lush landscapes. The journey then moves on the Todra Gorges for a leisurely lunch. After lunch, drive to Merzouga to trek by camel across the wind-blown Erg Chebbi dunes, a classic Saharan Desert of all the picture books. Spend the evening in a bivouac (camp) with a typical Moroccan dinner. Sleep in a traditional nomadic camel hair tent. Day 3: Wake up to a spectacular desert sunrise during breakfast. Bivouac trekkers will return by camel and continue to the small town of Rissani, where you will visit the Ksours and Kasbahs of Tafilalt, stopping at the Tafilalt Palm Grove en route. Go to the zaouia of Moulay Ali Sherif (mausoleum of the dynasty’s founder) on local market day in Rissani to see traditional souks. Next, drive to Ouarzazate via Alnfe, Tazarine, Drâa Valley, and Agdz, visiting the Tamnougalt Kasbah. Overnight in a Kasbah Riad, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah of Tourirt. Day 4: Following breakfast, continue your return journey to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains, stopping en route for lunch.
