(Young!) John was a very good driver and battled difficult conditions to get us to all the planned destinations on time. He was friendly and affable and showed flexibility towards guests who had bespoke requests for stops to see things along the way. He gave us lots of information about NZ culture and history and kept us entertained along the way. Altogether a very enjoyable day.

Great full day tour. Our Hobbiton guide was awesome, he gave us plenty of time to take pictures and shared interesting facts along the way. Mere was our guide at Rotura, she was super energetic and kept the tour interesting.
