Pickup was prompt and we were well looked after by our guide. As we trekked up the mountain we got good advice, conversation and a break when we needed it. We were lucky enough to get clear weather and a beautiful sunrise but even if we didn’t it was still a pleasurable experience from start to finish. Our guide was professional and very helpful and friendly, would recommend it to anyone :)

We stayed in Ubud so our pick up time was 220am. It was about an hour drive to the meeting point. We were offered coffee and we’re able to use the toilets before we met our guide Ketut. I’m a ‘young’ 42year old. I’m 5ft 4” and about 60kg. I walk about half hour every day and I found this very difficult. My legs almost didn’t get me to the top. The 3 or 4 x 5min rest breaks were very needed for me to be able to get to the top. The trek up was about 1 hr 30 mins. It was so worth it! We had magnificent weather and the most beautiful sunrise and ate breakfast. We were at the top for about 1hr 30 mins before we headed down. The trek down was a little difficult and hard on the knees but much easier than the way up. Our guide Ketut was so friendly knowledgeable supportive and helpful. Ketut literally does this gruelling climb every single day so that he can support his family! Highly recommend this tour! Thank you Ketut

Super cool activity with Agus and Senegal being top guides! Can only recommend this to anyone who is looking for an incredible view. The hike is exhausting but absolutely doable. I suggest to wear hiking boots if possible. I did it with trainers which are also fine but almost twisted my ankle on the way down. Luckily everything went well :-)
