You’ll meet your seasoned local guide at Max’s Taphouse, where a ghostly prostitute still tries to lure men into her bed from the window. From there, you’ll wind through seven other chilling, haunted locations, including three additional pubs. Find out why the bartender at The Horse You Came in On leaves a glass of cognac out for Edgar Allan Poe. Investigate the murder of William Fell at the Fell Family Cemetery, and scan the harbor for the apparitions of murdered sailors. Once you arrive, you will get a unique visit to Mt Vernon Estate, the home of George Washington. Once at Mt Vernon, enjoy a narrated tour full of historical facts around the framed landmark. See the 18th & 19th century buildings of Alexandria, including the Masonic Memorial dedicated to the president. Learn all about Washington's life with reenactments of historical life. The tour will complete with transportation back to Washington, DC.
