Full description
Enjoy a 2-hour tail boat journey in Bangkok. Meet your guide at Tha Maharaj Shopping mall and visit the old city of Thonburi, an independent province until it was merged with Bangkok in 1971. Many of the traditional small waterways and klongs still exist there. Experience the local way of living, rarely seen from the other side of town. Make your last stop at Wat Arun, known as The Temple of Dawn due to the beautiful reflections of the sun in the glazed ceramic tiles. Marvel at the beauty of one of the most important temples of Thailand's history. See the central prang, a stupa-like pagoda decorated with colorful glazed porcelain tiles and seashells, giant statues, the Ordination Hall, the Bell Tower, and many Buddha statues that have been there for hundreds of years. At the end of the journey, transfer back to Maharaj pier and continue your evening in Bangkok.

Uncle ode( visaroj akarawong) went beyond what was expected of him as our tour guide. He gave us mini history lessons about thailand while cruising along the chao phraya river and visiting wat arun. He also accompanied and showed us around iconsiam which was not part of our 2 hour tour. Thank you uncle ode for an interesting and enjoyable afternoon!

Really nice sightseeing trip. The WAT ARUN is a masterpiece, but the REAL BARS museum is unmissable, fascinating. The long-tailed boat is not exactly easy to get on or off, you have to be a little agile and with comfortable shoes. The guide, a girl named Will was good and nice. I'd do it again. The only drawback, at the meeting point the guide is not clearly distinguishable, it should be more visible

    Perfect short (and private) tour!

We were 3 in our party, and the guide was sensitive to our wishes. Getting into the longtail boat was a little difficult for one of us, so we skipped the Royal Barge museum and instead took a long leisurely ride in and out of the smaller side canals off the river. We saw floating market boats, went through locks, spotted water lizards, and generally had a wonderful time. The longboat left us at Wat Arun, where our guide explained everything and gave us time to explore on our own before getting us safely onboard the water taxi back to the Air Train. I highly recommend this tour.
