It was well led and we would not found many of the places or known what we were looking at without our Guide Janny’s help. I would rename it as a food tour though— I think that is naturally what you end up doing most in Chinatown— eating. It was a good introduction to an interesting part of Bangkok.

Even for people having been living in Bangkok for a while, this tour gives exciting new insights and brings you to new places in Chinatown. I learned interesting as well as funny and bizarre things, could try street food and got some restaurant tipps.

We had a great time with our guide Sunnee. She was born in Thailand and speaks German, that was really great. Since the loop not booked, we were only three. So we had a lot of time to look at China Town and a few other things like temples, shrines, etc. nearby. China Town itself with its winding streets is an experience in itself. The market is impressive, we have seen many foods for the first time. Sunnee also showed us a very traditional Thai Café which we did not visit by ourselves so we got to know the Thai coffee culture. Likewise, we were at the end of the loop still in a street food area on the road and she has given us tips on how to get back to the skytrain. We drove then on the Chao Praya with the taxi ship to the Skytrain. Sunnee was super friendly and we enjoyed the loop very much. You should definitely wear comfortable shoes because in the 4 hours you walk a long way.
