Full description
Ever wanted to spontaneously book a tour on the same day you take it? Chinatown will have you discovering the history and significance of the area in just two hours! You can also choose from multiple start times for a time that suits you. Meet up with your friendly TripGuru outside Wat Mangkon station to begin the walking tour. The first stop on the tour is Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Wat Leng Noei Yi). This temple is the largest and most important Chinese temple in the city and was built in the classic Chinese architectural style. Marvel at the stately structure and opt to make an offering in the temple before heading to the inner streets and alleyways of Chinatown. One of the integral facets of Chinatown is its food culture. Wander around the narrow walkways and see vendors selling delicious dishes and snacks such as rolled rice noodle soup, deep-fried dough sticks, fish balls with noodles and fish wontons, and shrimp wontons. Your knowledgeable foodie TripGuru will tell you about the history and stories behind these delicious eats. Feel free to try these scrumptious foods for yourself to wholly experience Chinatown at its best.

Wow!! I was the only one on my time slot…And I was so lucky to get JIN as my tour guide! She was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable, funny, answered all my questions…She talked with the locals while we walked and that really makes you feel more connected to the tour. She kept asking questions which always keeps you interested. At the beginning of the tour, she tailored it based on my interest (food/sightseeing/history etc.) This was by far the best 2 hours I’ve had in Bangkok. Highly recommend this one..

A firework of impressions! Street musicians, horns and engine noises of cars, scooters and tuktuks, whistles of the police officers, smells of fresh and roasted or grilled fish and meat, smell from the sewage system and the many, many people hurrying on, queuing or sitting quietly on their stools To enjoy food. It's delicious!! The atmosphere is special!! Give yourself enough time for this.
