Full description
Receive a short demonstration on how to operate your electric scooter before starting the tour. Get a brief introduction to Bangkok and it's food culture as you ride to the first stop. First stop on the tour is a local Thai market, where you will try some local Thai fruits and get to see how local Thai people buy their food. From here explore the narrow alleyways of the Thonburi side of Bangkok before you cross over the Chao Phraya River via the memorial bridge to Chinatown. In Chinatown try some of the most famous street food in the city. Learn about the history of the Chinese community and how they influenced Thai food and culture. After this hop back on the scooter and ride around the back streets of Chinatown, before crossing over the river again, this time by local ferry.  Next up is the Tha Din Daeng Market. Sample some traditional Thai foods, before stopping at a local park. Discover Wat Prayoon, and feed the friendly turtles who live nearby. Finally, visit the area which is home to the Kudeejeen community where you'll try muffins from a local factory and learn how the Portuguese colonizers influenced Thai food.

Five stars! Jobe was our guide for the afternoon (went with my partner) and I was very happy with the tour, we had a blast. The food was delicious and it was nice that it was included in the package. Jobe explained very well and was able to answer the questions we had as we went on the tour.

Very friendly staff and guide. Didn't get as much to taste from the food stalls as expected because we spent most of the time seeing the Buddhist temples. The lunch served was nothing out of the ordinary. There would be probably tastier options in the region, but the view from the restaurant was great, just by the river. Comparing to the tours Itook the days before, I believe the guide wasn't as knowledgeable as the others. It was fun though. Ridding a scooter in Bangkok was the highlight of the tour.

I recommend this tour to everyone, who want not a banal sightseeing tour, but the tour representing a real life and a culture of Bangkok citizens. At the trip there was an opportunity to taste delicious Thai, Chinese, Japanese food from local food markets. Awesome guide Jam told interesting facts from history of Siam and Thailand at the stops. Drive a scooter on hidden from eyes of many tourists narrow roads of the city is marvellous. If you have not much time in Bangkok, you should keep this tour in mind first. In four words: fascinating, tasty, interesting and safe.l
