Day one: Fishing Village of Tonle Sap Lake and Roulous Temples Group Begin your day with a pickup at your accommodation around 8:00 AM and journey through the countryside to the world’s second largest freshwater lake, Tonle Sap Lake, which swells to 12,000 kilometers squared. During the dry half of the year, the lake shrinks to 2,500 kilometers squared, draining into the Tonle Sap River. Take a boat trip to Kampong Phluk, a collection of three small fishing villages in an atmospheric flooded forest setting. Enjoy your lunch at your own expense and have a short rest. Continue your afternoon visit to the Roulos group of temples. This collection of monuments were built in the late 9th-century as a capital city for King Jayavarman II. Take time out here to explore the temples including Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei. Day two: Angkor Thom, Bayon Neak Pean, Bantreay Srei, and Pre Rup Temple This morning head to Angkor Thom. This majestic site once served as the Khmer Empire's glistening capital city. Take a moment to consider its grandiosity before venturing inside the city. Arrive at the temple at Bayon and appreciate its beautifully crafted central towers covered in more than 200 enormous faces. Move to Neak Pean, an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray. Visit the well-preserved Banteay Srei. The detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest, most skillfully crafted in Cambodia. One the way back, make a brief stop at well-preserved Banteay Samre, a laterite structure that once featured internal moats. Finish your discoveries of the temples of Angkor with sunset at the Pre Rub temple.  Day three: Temples of Angkor at Sunrise Depart before dawn to see the sunrise outside Angkor Wat. Soak up the atmosphere from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. Then explore the interior of the great temple. Spend a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers, and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Continue to Preah Khan temple, a ruined but highly atmospheric mélange of tree roots and crumbling stone structures. At the end of the morning return to your accommodation for lunch then in the afternoon drive to Ta Nei. This is a late 12th-century stone temple in Angkor that was dedicated to the Buddha. Set out for the jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm, which is one of the most atmospheric of all the temples in Angkor. This long but fulfilling day will leave you with lifetime memories of some of the most impressive monuments built by mankind.

Day 1: Get picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap in the morning by tuk tuk, driving to meet your tour guide. Receive detailed instructions on how to ride your bicycle when you arrive. Begin your bike tour at the illustrious Ta Prohm Temple, with overgrowing jungle trees and vines. It’s known as the Tomb Raider Temple, as it was used as a filming location in the movie. Continue to the ancient city of Angkor Thom and enter through the stone gate, carved with elephants. Stop at the Bayon Temple, richly decorated in Buddhist history, and see the historical landmarks of the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant to indulge in traditional, Cambodian delicacies. After lunch, follow your guide, listening to stories as you cycle to the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Angkor Wat, the most famed of all Cambodia’s temples. Return to your hotel for the next day’s trip. Day 2: Bike along unpaved roads and through rural villages on the way to Banteay Samre, a 12th Century, Hindu temple. Continue on the wild path, leading along rice fields to the temple of Banteay Srei, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and carved from pink sandstone. Enjoy scenic views cycling through the area of Angkor. Take a break for lunch at the foot of a mountain, before transferring to Kbal Spean archeological site. Trek the jungle trail to reach the cascading waterfall by the River of a Thousand Lingas, named for the religious carvings on the riverbed. Day 3: Spend your last day of the trip cycling along the backroads of Siem Reap to the former Angkor city of Rulous. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. 9:30 am - 10:30 am Next stop, you will visit Banteay Samre, built by Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century. It is a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style. Named after the Samré, an ancient people of Indochina, the temple uses the same materials as the Banteay Srei. Your expert guide will take you around the complex, and you will learn about the history and symbolism of the temple. 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Continue your journey to visit Banteay Srei. Day 1: Full-Day Angkor Temples guided tour At 8:00 am meet your guide and driver at your hotel You will start your morning tour at Angkor Wat and travel through the vast collection of ancient temples. Your guide will take you to the best spots to make sure you capture the best photos of Angkor Wat. 10:00 am - 11:30 am When you have finished discovering Angkor Wat, you will then head out into the center of Angkor Thom and enter the city through the Ancient Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with elephants and four giant faces.
