Full description
Montserrat is the most important mountain in Catalonia. It is a unique massif, famous for its gothic shapes and breathtaking views, and is known as the symbol of the Catalan people. You will experience it first-hand on a full-day tour that makes it apparent to you why Montserrat is so closely linked to the Catalan identity. On the way to Montserrat, your guide will introduce you to this "magic mountain" where Mother Nature meets religion, history, and the identity of the Catalans. Enjoy the stunning landscape of this Natural Park. The guided tour includes a short walk to the monastery where you can enjoy the spectacular views and get a true feel of the spirituality Montserrat has to offer. After Montserrat, head to a local, family-run winery, just a few minutes away from Montserrat, and one of the most important and beautiful wineries in the region.  In the local restaurant you will be served with an exquisite selected tasting menu featuring favorites of the region paired with wines produced organically from the vineyard. In the afternoon, your expert guide will guide you to visit the cellar and take you through the vines for a beautiful walk. You will learn how the wine is made and you will discover all its secrets. Then visit the winery, where its chateaux wines become older and wiser. Here you may sit, close your eyes, and enjoy the wonderful miracle of the various wines offered, tasting the history, soil, climate, and everything else that makes this winery so special. Choose between a small group or a private tour.

It was an amazing experience! Our tour guide Luis was so knowledgeable and so fun to be around! He was amazing, very kind and helpful. The meal we received for lunch was nice, soup, duck with potatoes and a desert. My only negative would have to be the final stop of the tour the winery where we tasted some wines. They could have given us more expensive wine to taste considering the price of this tour. We were given bottles that were only 15 euros and under. No one even ended up purchasing a bottle afterwards because of the cheap taste. Other than that the bus we were in was nice and air conditioned and the other parts were very enjoyable.

A bit of chaos in front of the Hard Rock Cafe as many groups meet there simultaneously. Our group of 17 was combined with three other groups on a motorcoach but separated once we reached each destination. A good way to keep costs down and one big coach is probably more ecologically sound than four small ones. Our guide Sergio was enthusiastic and full of information. Plenty of free time at Montserrat, but the interval between the time when the boys’ choir sang and the specified meetup time was too short for a slow-moving person to be able to hear the performance.

Very nice

The guides are great and the day was really nice planned. The only weak(er) point was the lunch in the winery. It was really nothing special, just like regular lunch menu from any of the average places. Good thing is that they take into account any the food restrictions. And the wine was great!
