Help for other travelers: Do not search for “get your guide” signs, colors etc. Once you find the Estació del Nord search for “Julia Tours and Tickets” with green letters. Tour was perfect. The bus on time, around 1:30h to arrive at the park. No traffic ( Tuesday ). The park is amazing, a lot of fun in pools and activities. Food is overpriced but it’s ok for the park. Avoid hours between 13:30-15:30 for shorter queues. Personnel doesn’t speak English and looks like they do not care. Of course there are some exceptions… a few In conclusion, it’s a nice day trip from Barcelona, recommend!

To do in hot weather

Activity done with my wife and my 5 year old son who can not swim. And that went really well, there is for all levels, suddenly even my little one could outdo himself. On the transport side, the included bus is very practical, it drops us off right outside the entrance and picks us up at the same place.

Great park, but after closing 1.5 hours waiting time for bus departure

Advantages: The water park is very nicely designed and offers a large selection of slides in addition to a spacious wave pool and a long flow channel. The water park was not overcrowded and there were hardly any waiting times. There are many supervisors who ensure security and a smooth process. The staff is very friendly. The air-conditioned coach was very comfortable. Minuses: All the lounge chairs in the park were dirty, so we didn't want to put our bath towels on them. I found the price of € 9, - per locker (plus € 3, - deposit) much too high, especially since only a medium backpack fits into it. We were not informed that, unlike the rest of PortAventura Park, the water park closes at 6pm by mid-June. Since not only water park visitors were on the bus, we had to wait until the bus departure at 7.30 p.m. 1.5 hours, as the bus driver did not want to let us in, even though it had started to rain (!).
