Full description

Escape the hustle and bustle of Barcelona for the day on a full-day trip to Girona and Figueres, two of the most scenic towns of the Costa Brava. First, visit the historic town of Girona to see Roman remains and medieval buildings. Lose yourself in a labyrinth of narrow streets, and travel through the best-preserved Jewish Quarter in Europe.

Marvel at Girona Cathedral and the widest Gothic nave in the world. Then, see the colorful houses along the River Onyar. Go to the top of Girona’s medieval walls for panoramic views. Next, transfer to Figueres near the border with France, and experience one of the main destinations of the so-called “Dalí Triangle.” Explore the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, and enter some of the places he frequented as an adult. Go to the Dalí Museum, designed by Dalí himself on the ruins of an old municipal theater. Journey into the artist's mind as you explore the vast collection of his work, including some of the strangest artifacts imaginable.

It was such a memorable experience with Vincent as our guide as he is so knowledgeable, animated and fun with lots of trivia. All the places as described to be visited during the trip were fully covered and explained! I fully recommend Vincent to other travelers as well to be their guide. Joaquin is also a safe and careful driver!

It was a wonderful experience because of the places we visited in Girona and Figueras and above all because of the human warmth and all the wisdom of our guide Kurt Jaime, to whom we are very grateful. He explained to us in detail the history of Girona and very deeply everything related to the life and work of Dalí, whom he met personally. We would love to be able to do another trip with the guide of Kurt Jaime.

Luis was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Dali and gave us an amazing tour of the museum. What he knows about specific details of these pieces of art are astonishing. Girona was a lovely tour as well and Luis was a wonderful guide through these historical sights. The ride back to Barcelona was longer than I’d like but we’ll worth it
